Initial Setup

Default URL: 192.168.1.1

Default username: admin

Default password: pfsense

I used Google DNS (8.8.8.8) and Cloudfare DNS (1.1.1.1). However you choose as per your need. I also disable Overide DNS so that ISP DNS will not be used.

Supported WAN Type

• Static IPv4 (mainly used in business/datacenter)
• DHCP (mainly used in home)
• PPP
• PPPoE
• PPTP
• L2TP

You can configure your LAN network, i am going to leave as default (i.e. 192.168.1.1 with 24 subnet-mask)
